Attorney Stephen Prignano of McIntyre & Tate, LLP will receive the Roger Williams University School of Law Champions of Justice Award on January 27, 2017. This award honors his impact and accomplishments in supporting social justice programs including the Pro Bono Collaborative (PBC), a unique pro bono partnership of local attorneys, Roger Williams University law school students and social services organizations. Attorney Prignano will receive the award at the annual Champions for Justice dinner, which celebrates honorees’ dedication to serving low-income and disenfranchised communities throughout Rhode Island.
For 30 years, Attorney Prignano has practiced law in the state of Rhode Island. Throughout his career, he has shown unwavering dedication to his responsibility as both a legal professional and community member to serve the community, especially those who do not have the financial means to afford legal help. Through his efforts in helping the PBC, Attorney Prignano supported and was able to provide guidance and advice to individuals in need of legal assistance, as well as assisting the PBC itself in promoting greater access to justice in Rhode Island.
